Thank you for subscribing!! This week starts what has been a long journey here. When I viewed this home, the inspector right away said the windows were shot. If you look in the corners of the windows in the photo, you can see how the inside frame has chipped away and settled inside the frame of the window. Not all are quite this bad but most are drafty. In this age of expensive utility bills, these windows have to go.
As with most things during this pandemic, these windows have been on the slow boat from China lol. Seriously, I signed the contract for these windows September 11th 2021. My original installation date was December 6th and 7th. Unfortunately ‘Vid’ had other plans and my installation date was rescheduled for February 2022.
In preparation for installation, I must remove all window treatments and furniture within 3 feet of the windows. I have 17 windows that must be prepped. I was thinking, I don’t have much at my windows – ha! I forgot how heavy my nightstands are, how full my desk is, the lights I have hanging, the heavy plants etc. While I’m eager for new windows, I’m not eager for the clean-up that will be needed when it is all complete. I hope to get some good pics and maybe some video of the installation to share on the social media sites. Make sure you’re following along. Say a prayer for a fast and successful installation. In addition, send warm thoughts as it is winter here and energetic vibes to put things back when its all done.
Have an incredibly blessed week!
